How to bring your old virgin hair weave back to life?

Virgin Hair and weaves are really not my areas of expertise, but I have come across some tips and tricks in the Weave Game I want to share with my Vixens. Virgin Hair (human hair that has not been processed with any chemicals) a costly investment, so before you toss that bag of weave away try this tip on your human hair weaves, clip in, or wigs.

I recently bleached some virgin hair I just got, however, the process left my hair so dry! So I googled what I could do to help with the dryness and come across Silicon Mix products, which you may have seen if you have been to a Dominican salon. So I ran out and got these products and was very happy with the results. My Julia hair was restored to like new!

You will need

Silicon mix shampoo

Silicon mix conditioner

wide tooth comb

a plastic bucket or large bowl

leave in conditioner of your choice

Steps

1. Wash your hair in lukewarm water with the shampoo of your choice.

2. Comb thru your hair with the wide tooth comb. Be careful to detangle the

hair from the bottom up.

3. Blot your wet hair with a towel and set it to the side for a little

4. Fill your bucket or bowl with warm water. Take the Silicon Mix Conditioner and scoop a generous amount, I use about a half gallon of warm water to a half cup of conditioner. I also add a few drop of natural Jojoba Oil this is totally optional. Mix the water conditioner well.

5. Holding your weave/wig at the top dip it in the mixture. If you are using curly/wavy hair try not to disturb the curl pattern. Dip the virgin hair bundles with closure in and out, gently swirling to ensure it is fully saturated.

6. Gently submerge the hair in the mix. You will let it sit for several hours the longer the better. You can even let it sit overnight.

7. Remove from the mix. Rinse with lukewarm water. Take a towel a squeeze excess water out. Hang hair to dry. Spray a little of the leave in on. For best results let hair air dry. If you are using a lace wig place on a wig head once hair is half way dry. Once hair is dry style as however you wish!
